Cherry is a showgirl with stars in her eyes, literally. Her earrings are made from pages out of a vintage gardening book. The swirling background contrasts with Cherry's steady gaze. She's ready for the spotlight. 

STUDIO VIBE: Apple's COLDPLAY Essentials is frequently on repeat in my studio, but over the last few weeks, it's been thrown over for The Life of a Showgirl. Thank you, Taylor. I like to think that this painting is a mix of the two...Showgirl in a Sky Full of Stars. 

This piece is on canvas BOARD, primed cotton canvas stretched over a thin, stiff board. Easy to frame, prop on a shelf, or display with command strips. It is unframed.
